gcaDo you need help selecting health insurance coverage before the end of open enrollment (February 15, 2015)? Worried about how the Affordable Care Act affects your taxes? Have other healthcare plan concerns or questions?

ACA Navigators will be volunteering to answer YOUR questions here at the Main Library at the following times:  January 31 (Sat.) from 10-3pm and February 4 (Wed.) from 3-8:30 pm in Meeting Room 1.

Join us on Friday, April 10th, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the Streamwood High School to watch the off-duty members of the Streamwood Fire Department play against the members of the Streamwood Police Department to raise money to help families in our community!

Streamwood High School is located at 701 W Schaumburg Rd in Streamwood, just east of the intersection of Schaumburg Rd and IL Route 59.

Tickets are only $5 each and are available at the door. Kids 5 and under get in FREE! Doors open at 6pm.

The Poplar Creek Public Library has recently added twenty-five Polish language fiction titles to our collection.  The new titles are shelved next to our Spanish Adult collection on the lower level.  If you need assistance, please check with the Reference Desk. 




The Safari Books Online Public Library Series offers digital books and training videos in technology. The first of the three modules, Personal and Professional Development Library, covers business skills, leadership, entrepreneurship, communications, finance, and career development. The second module covers Microsoft office products, digital photography, social media, and PC maintenance. The third module offers Beginning Programming, Java, C#, ASP.NET, MySQL, Ruby, Web development, gaming and more.
