Welcome to Poplar Creek Public Library District

Meet Your Trustees Days

The Village of Streamwood held its annual Summer Celebration on July 24, 25 and 26. This year’s theme was “Christmas in July” to highlight all the wonderful accomplishments of the Village and community members. This was the 21st anniversary for this event which features food, music, a carnival, and an afternoon parade. The various parade entries are judged and awards are given. For the fourth year in a row, the Poplar Creek Public Library has the honor of being awarded the Best in Theme float designation.
