The Adult Services Department is responsible for the provision of reference and readers' advisory services; the selection of all materials for the Adult Collection; the coordination of computer services including word processing, Internet service, and selected databases; outreach services including service to the homebound. Our collections include books, large print books, newspapers, magazines, DVDs, CDs, audio books on CD, and online databases. The department serves you from three public service desks: the Reference Desk on the lower level, and the Media (AV) Desk and the Reader’s Advisory (Fiction) Desk on the main level. IBM compatible computers with software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint, and access to the Internet and selected online databases are available for use in the library in the Reference, Info-Commons, and the Media and YA areas. Printers print both black and white ($.10 per page) and color ($.50 per page.) There are three payment stations--in Children's Services, in the Info-Commons computer area, and in the Media computer area where one may set up an account to pay printing fees.
